- $20.00 entry fee per head at time of entry.
- Animals must be on the fairgrounds June 25, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM for weigh-in.
- Blankets must be removed from lamb before weighing.
- Classes to be decided after weigh in • Not over 20 lambs per class.
- Minimum Class premiums of $25.00 for 1st place, $20.00 for 2nd place, $15.00 for 3rd place and $10 for 4th place.
- Animals will be released to go home immediately after show.
- Use East livestock gate (gate 1) for show entrance. Gate admission is $7.00.
- No one allowed in show ring during judging except judge, exhibitor and fair officials.
- Lambs can be shown off the trailer.
- Clean up your area before you leave.
- If the animal was born after January 1, 2019, it must have official USDA sheep identification and be identified to the flock of birth either by an ear tag or tattoo placed by the owner of the flock of birth, or a tag or tattoo placed by the purchaser.

- Cakes, cookies, candy, and pies must be presented in the provided plastic containers or a disposable baking container with a clear plastic lid. Noodles and bread must be presented in zip-lock bags. Baked goods presented in any other fashion will be disqualified!
- No refrigeration is available.
- Commercial mixes will be disqualified.
- Cakes and pies must be of average size and fit within the provided plastic container.
- Only 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winning breads, noodles, cookies, candy, cakes and pies will be sold at the Baked Goods Auction Monday, June 20, 2022 at 5:00 PM.
- Half of the purchase price goes to the exhibitor and half goes to the Culinary Department.
- The remaining entries not selected to take part in the Baked Goods Auction may be reclaimed Monday, June 20, 2022 between the hours of 10 AM and 1 PM. Any entries not reclaimed by 1 PM will become the property of the Putnam County Fair.

- Stump The Judge Competition Exhibitors are encouraged to enter their most unusual items to see if the judges know what they are and what their use once was. This is open to the first 10 entries. If you stump the judge, you will receive a ribbon and a $5.00 Premium.
Crafts

- Assemble a basket of gifts such as you would give a friend or child for any occasion.
- Baskets must not be more than 18 inches in height or width.
- Baskets should contain no more than 10 items with at least 4 items made by exhibitor
- The items can be nonperishable food, sewing, any craft items, woodworking, jewelry, small toys, gifts, etc.
- Include in the basket a brief description of the items made.
- Baskets will be judged on originality, workmanship and total work.

Putnam County Schools Fine Arts & Photography

- Any student in Pre-K through 12th grade enrolled in a Putnam County school during the 2021- 2022 school year may participate.
- No entry fee or membership ticket is required but entry form must be completed in Secretary’s office by 5:00 PM on Friday, June 10, 2022.
- Exhibits must be in place between 12 Noon and 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
- Exhibits may be removed after 8:00 AM on Sunday, June 26th, 2022.
- Artwork must be completed in the last two years and not shown previously at the Putnam County Fair.
- Each Pre-K through 8th grade student may submit one entry total.
- 2D artwork (flat) must be no larger than 16”x24” (including mat: optional) No frames please.
- 3D artwork (sculpture/pottery) must be no larger than 18”x18”.

Fine Arts

- Non-professional exhibitors only.
- Exhibits must not exceed 30” x 40”.
- All work must have been produced during the past two years and not shown at the Putnam County Fair before.
- ALL WORK MUST BE PROPERLY FRAMED AND WIRED FOR HANGING ON PEGBOARD HOOKS. Saw tooth hangers are not acceptable.
- Painting (acrylic, oil, tempera, watercolor, etc.)

Photography

- All exhibitors must purchase a membership or season ticket.
- Not open to professional photographers. A professional is anyone who sells or has sold prints or photography services.
- One entry per class per exhibitor.
- Entries close at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 10, 2022 – NO late entries will be accepted!
- Exhibits must be in place between 12 Noon and 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
- Exhibits may be removed after 8:00 AM on Sunday, June 26th, 2022.
- All photography must be 5” x 7”. All photos must be printed on photo paper. Do not matt or frame photo. Attach entry tag to back of photo in the lower right corner. All photos will be displayed by class.
- The same photograph cannot be entered in more than one class.
- All work must have been produced during the past two years, be the original work of the entrant and not shown at the Putnam County Fair before. • This is a family fair-any subject that is questionable or inappropriate will be accepted or rejected at the Superintendent’s discretion.
- Photos digitally produced are acceptable, however they may not be enhanced or altered digitally using photo editing software effects and filters unless specified in class details. If a photo is found to be enhanced or altered digitally it will be disqualified

Floral

- All exhibitors must purchase a membership or a season ticket.
- One entry per class per exhibitor.
- Entries close at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 10, 2022 – NO late entries will be accepted!
- No entry may be used in more than one show per year.
- Any non-professional grower in Putnam County may enter this contest. Open to other counties.
- Accredited judges of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, Inc will judge entries using the Standard System of Judging. All decisions of judges will be final
- With the exception of Division V, all flowers must be grown by the exhibitors.
- Specimen containers must be clear glass.
- All specimens should be marked with the name and variety. All arrangements should be marked on a 3” X 5” card as to name of flowers and type of material used.
- Do not remove any foliage from horticulture entries-unless stated.
- When schedule calls for definite number of blooms, a greater or lesser number disqualifies the entry.
- Those interested in learning more about exhibiting and /or arranging are welcome to observe the oral judging
- Flowers must be in place by 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
- Judging will take place Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM
