Committees are appointed annually by the President, Vice-President and Treasurer in accordance with Article III, Section 2 of the By Laws. Committees are comprised of but are not limited to Directors of the Putnam County Agricultural Society. Occasionally, at the discretion of the Board, an auxiliary committee member from outside the board may be appointed based on an individual’s expertise and experience as well as the fair’s needs. Committee chairpersons however must be current or past directors and/or officers even though primary management and operation may be delegated to a qualified individual from outside the board.
